Job Summary:

The Business Resolution team at Tesla is composed of intelligent and driven individuals who leverage their industry experience and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges. This team collaborates with various internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that influence Tesla’s processes, procedures, systems, and best practices, ensuring an exceptional ownership experience for all Tesla customers.

The ideal candidate for the Business Resolution Partner role will exercise a high degree of discretion, using independent judgment to evaluate situations, assess risk, and determine resolutions that balance both the customer’s and Tesla’s interests. The role requires expertise in problem-solving, conflict management, and objective decision-making.

Location: This position can be based at any Tesla Sales, Service, and Delivery site.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Tesla Service by efficiently resolving customer escalations in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with field teams to understand customer concerns, repair history, and prior communications to determine appropriate resolutions considering financial, legal, and operational implications.

  • Assess service center operations and work with local and regional management on improvements.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of local and regional Lemon Law legislation to mitigate litigation and compliance risk.

  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to enhance Tesla Service through in-field training, updated policies and procedures, and robust internal tools such as operational guidebooks.

  • Support reporting activities to highlight key areas for improvement to Tesla executive and leadership teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive service centers, preferably in front-of-house or service management roles.

  • Deep understanding of vehicle service operations and repair processes.

  • Comfortable working with and presenting to senior/executive leadership.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.

  • Ability to manage high volumes of cases/projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, with potential for international travel.

  • Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment.

Compensation:

Expected Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 annually + cash and stock awards + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional details regarding participation in Tesla's benefits plans will be provided if an offer of employment is extended.
